Mukhete hási bale bhálabási
Mamatáte bhará dut́i áṋkhi
(Báhire kat́hor) Mor cittacor
Dekhiyá cáhe man áro dekhi

(Jata bali táre) Bhulibo tomáre
Se kahe báre báre bhulo bhulo
Mor páne áṋkhi náhi tolo
Bhulite náhi pári áṋkhi mele dhari
Here jáoyá láje mete tháki

(Jata bali táre) Kichu doba náko
Se kahe báre báre kichu cáhi náko
Ná diye náhi pári hrdaya ujáŕi
Táhári dhyánete diye tháki

মুখেতে হাসি বলে ভালবাসি
মমতাতে ভরা দুটি আঁখি
(বাহিরে কঠোর) মোর চিত্তচোর
দেখিয়া চাহে মন আরও দেখি

(যত বলি তারে) ভুলিবো তোমারে
সে কহে বারে বারে ভুলো ভুলো
মোর পানে আঁখি নাহি তোলো
ভুলিতে নাহি পারি আঁখি মেলে ধরি
হেরে যাওয়া লাজে মেতে থাকি

(যত বলি তারে) কিছু দোব নাকো
সে কহে বারে বারে কিছু চাহি নাকো
না দিয়ে নাহি পারি হৃদয় উজাড়ি
তাহারই ধ্যানেতে দিয়ে থাকি

The smile on His face speaks of love;
His two eyes are full of affection.
Outwardly severe is the stealer of my mind,
Yet my heart longs to see Him more and more.

Whenever I tell Him, "I'll ignore You",
He repeats, "You forget, you forget...
You don't take your eyes off Me."
With eyes open, I cannot neglect Him;
Shamelessly, I stay infatuated.

Whenever I tell Him, "I'll give nothing",
He repeats, "I don't need anything."
Irresistibly, my heart pours out;
I stay giving, contemplating only Him.
