Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Páye dhare páye dhare vinati kari
Jeo ná tumi jeo ná
Ásár áshe basechilum anek din
Áshár mukule mor chiṋŕo ná

Je taru jalasikta kará hayechilo
Mukule puśpe phale bhare já ut́hechilo
Táhár kathá bhávo bhávo tár anubhava
Táre niśphal hate dio ná

Ráuṋá prabháte raktimábha sandhyáy
Pratikśań ket́e geche tomári bhávanáy
Mor sei bhávanáy t́helo ná hatásháy
Sárthak karo sádhanáy

O lord, holding your feet,
i am praying that you should not go.
i remained seated on the path
hoping your arrival for many days;
please do not pluck my buds of hope.
the tree that was watered and irrigated,
on that now buds, flowers and fruits
have appeared fully.
think of that and their feelings;
do not allow them to be futile.
in colourful mornings and reddish evenings,
each moment of mine
has passed in your ideation.
that feeling of mine
please do not push out pessimistically,
and make my sa'dha'na',
the spiritual effort fruitful.
