Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Prajápati pákhná mele
Puśpaparág niye gelo
Kotha hate esechilo
Kon ajánáy giye lukálo

Phuler buke vyathá chilo
Se ki táhá bujhe nilo
Rauṋ berauṋer oŕná pare
Káhár chavi áṋká chilo

Phul hese kay ábár eso
Juge juge bhálabeso
Tomár priiti madhur giiti
Ámár hiyáy náciye dilo

The Butterfly, wings outspread,
Went away with a blossom's pollen.
From which place did He arrive,
And to which place did He go hide?

In flower's chest had been distress...
Regarding that how did He apprehend!
On modesty's multi-colored scarf,[nb 2]
What image had been etched?

With a smile the flower says: "Again come;
From age to age, give Your love.
Your favor and your sweet song
Produced a dancing in my heart."
