Tomár madhur hási
Sei hásiri kathá bheve
Sukhasrote bhási

Sei hásitei upce paŕe
Jiivandhárá dharár pare
Chande sure hrday bhare
Sakal áṋdhár náshi

Sei hásiri kańáy khánik
T́hikre paŕe jyotir máńik
Maner máńik dáṋŕáo kháńik

পুষ্পরাজি জ্যোতস্নারাশি বলে ভালবাসি
তোমার মধুর হাসি
সেই হাসিরই কথা ভেবে
সুখস্রোতে ভাসি

সেই হাসিতেই উপচে' পড়ে
জীবনধারা ধরার 'পরে
ছন্দে সুরে হৃদয় ভরে'
সকল আঁধার নাশি'

সেই হাসিরই কণায় খানিক
ঠিকরে পড়ে জ্যোতির মাণিক
মনের মাণিক দাঁড়াও খানিক
রূপলোকে আসি

O lord, the topaz like shining moonlight
says that it loves your sweet smile.
thinking of that smile, i float
in the stream of happiness.
from that smile overflows the flow of life
on the earth and filling the heart
with rhythm and melody,
destroys all darkness.
from the momentary spark of that smile,
shining rubies scatter.
o the mental Ruby,
stand for a while,
coming in the world of forms.
