Sabákár ati priya ádarańiiya
Sakal vakśa májhe kaostubha mańi
Tomáte sabái tumi cháŕá kichu nái
Náhi ciniyáo tomákei shudhu cini

Sakal kusuma májhe tumi surabhi go
Sakal srśt́i májhe padmanábhi go
Tomári parashe tomári rúpe rase
Sakal ajáná májhe tomákei shudhu jáni

Mańikár dyuti tumi tárakár jyoti tumi
Vasudhár sudhá tumi tomákei sadá nami
Ásá jáoyá náhi tava prati pale liilá nava
Virát́ puruś rúpe tomákei shudhu máni

সবাকার অতি প্রিয় আদরণীয়
সকল বক্ষ মাঝে কৌস্তুভ মণি
তোমাতে সবাই তুমি ছাড়া কিছু নাই
না চিনিয়াও তোমাকেই শুধু চিনি

সকল কুসুম মাঝে তুমি সুরভি গো
সকল সৃষ্টি মাঝে পদ্মনাভি গো
তোমারই পরশে তোমারই রূপে রসে
সকল অজানা মাঝে তোমাকেই শুধু জানি

মণিকার দ্যুতি তুমি তারকার জ্যোতি তুমি
বসুধার সুধা তুমি তোমাকেই সদা নমি
আসা যাওয়া নাহি তব প্রতি পলে লীলা নব
বিরাট পুরুষ রূপে তোমাকেই শুধু মানি

Everyone's most beloved and revered,
You are the kaostubha gem[nb 2] on the bosom of all.
Everyone is within You, from You naught's ever apart;
Unknowingly, we come to know only Thee.

In every flower, You are the fragrance;
For all Creation, You are the padmanabhi.[nb 3]
By Your divine touch, Your grace and affection,
Amid all that is unknown, we know only Thee.

You are the luster of jewels and the light of stars;
You are the nectar of earth, and always we salute You.
Without coming or going, Your liila is constantly new;
Embodiment of Supreme Consciousness, we honor only Thee.

  2. ^ In Hindu mythology, the kaostubha gem is the brilliant jewel worn on the chest of Lord Viśńu. The jewel signifies the consciousness that permeates all that exists. One who wears the jewel takes delight in every phenomenon of the manifest universe.
  3. ^ Literally, the "navel lotus". Some depictions of Viśńu show the Hindu mythological deity with a lotus flower emerging from Viśńu's navel. At the center of that lotus sits Brahmá (the Creator).
