Salvation and Corporeal Beings is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti on 1978 September 15 in Patna, India. This discourse is the seventh chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 2.[1]
Synopsis
Lord Shiva said, Brahmaeváhamiti jiṋátvá mukto bhavati dehabhrt́. Even having a corporal structure one can attain salvation if one changes the idea of microcosm into macrocosm. The possibilities and potentialities of attaining salvation lie in the very existence of the supra-psychic being.
Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that human beings having a physical body can attain salvation. He then describes different names and meanings to Brahma, for example, He is the Prabhu, the best existence in the world. Anandamurti goes on explaining that Brahma is the source of all effulgence and by moving along towards the nucleus of all emanations (through sadhana), one can attain salvation.[1]
