Shabda sparsha rupa rase bhare acho is the 3148th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2] This song seems to be the first in a series of several songs in a style that speaks to children. Nonetheless, these songs all have levels of meaning for people of any age.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Shabda sparsha rúpa rase bhare ácho
Maner mukule tumi madhu ámár
Jáná vá ajáná je paricaye rayecho
Sarva rddhiri tumi samáhár

Nidágher asahja úśńa váyur srote
Snigdha jharańá sama tháko tumi sáthe sáthe
Varaśáy viśikta kardamákta pathe
Śaśt́hii sama tumi lakśye calár

Tomár cáoyáte tomáke jáná ná jáná
Cáhilei jánibo nahile rabe ajáná
Tomáke tuśt́a kará ámár sár sádhaná
Se vrate prárthii ámi tava karuńár

Suffusing sound, touch, form, and flavor You are present;
In the mental bud Thou art my honey.
Whether known or not, You have kept abreast;
Of all my wealth You are the totality.

In summer's sultry air-stream unbearable,
Like a cooling fountain You stay ever with.
On the mud-stained path, not rain-saturated,
In the goal of motion are You, like the Goddess Shashti.[nb 2]

At Your will is knowing or not knowing Thee.
If You wish I will know; if not, You'll stay a mystery.
Pleasing You is the essence of my practice holy;
With that vow I'm praying for Your mercy.
