Tomár lági málá gáṋthá
Tomár tare ashru jhare
Tabu he devatá kao ná kathá
Bojho ná mor manera vyathá

Úrdhva pathe álor rathe
Bhásiyá jáo bháver srote
Áṋkhir táráy dáo ná dharite
Bhávo ná mor vyákulatá

Ácho tumi sauṋgopane
Maner końe hiyár gahane
Randhre randhre andhakáre
Háráno gáner sure sádhá

তোমার তরে অশ্রু ঝরে
তোমার লাগি’ মালা গাঁথা
তোমার তরে অশ্রু ঝরে
তবু হে দেভতা কও না কথা
বোঝ না মোর মনের ব্যথা

ঊর্ধ্ব পথে আলোর রথে
ভাসিয়া যাও ভাবের স্রোতে
আঁখির তারায় দাও না ধরিতে
ভাবো না মোর ব্যাকুলতা

আছ তুমি সঙ্গোপনে
মনের কোণে হিয়ার গহনে
রন্ধ্রে রন্ধ্রে অন্ধকারে
হারানো গানের সুরে সাধা

On account of You tears run...
For Your sake garland is strung,
Due to You tears run;
And yet, oh Deity, not a word You tell;
Don't You grasp my mental distress?

On a skyward path, upon light's chariot,
You keep rising on a stream of thought.
To eye's pupil, You do not submit;
My anxiety, don't You consider?

You are in complete hiding
Within psyche, within the heart's deeps,
Inside of each cavity, confusingly,
With a lost song's rehearsed melody.
