Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáre ceyechi ámi ekánte vijane
Phuleri parimale keká kújane

Ceyechi dine ráte ceyechinu sandhyáy
Marakata dyutite vyathábhará hiyáy
Cáini báŕáte duhkh ceyechi dite sukh
Lukono maiṋjuśáte maneri końe

Tumi mor jata sukh tumii ánanda
Cittakoraka májhe sudhániśyanda
Sabi pathe paŕe ray tumi bhará hrday
Saberi vinimaye marme manane

Alone and in private, Yourself have I wanted,
With cooing of a peacock's call and only sweet floral scent.

I've wanted You both day and night, I had craved at twilight,
With heart full of pain or with an emerald's luster bright.
I wanted not to increase sorrow, I have wished to give joy,
Inside of my mind, in the hidden casket.

You are all my happiness, only You are bliss,
Amid the bud of psyche, essence of ambrosia.
For all those wayward dwells Yourself, a heart satisfied
By a trade of everything in soul, thought or felt.
