Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomári kathá bheve mármik anubhave
Báṋdh bháuṋgá man mor asiime bhásiyá jáy
Dyulok bhúlok pati tumi agatir gati
Tomár priitir kańá hiyá pulake bharáy

Chande anupama gandhe manorama
Bhávárúŕha spandane sabákár priyatama
Kusume tumi máliká máláy tumi mańiká
Viitarág haye háso anuráge suśamáy

Dáruń nidágh tápe pratham váridhárá
Varaśá megher pháṋke ujjval dhruvatárá
Timire vidhur máyá mihire tarur cháyá
Dúre thákiyáo tháko manamadhu alakáy

O Lord, thinking about You
and getting inmost feelings,
my mind breaks the bondages
and goes on floating to infinity.
You are the controller of heaven and earth,
and resort of helpless.
By wee bit of Your love,
the heart gets filled with bliss.
You are the Dearest of all
with incomparable rhythm,
charming fragrance, and vibrations
infused with feelings.
You are flower in the garland,
beads in the rosary,
remaining unattached,
You smile with loving beauty.
You are the first quenching flow of cool water
over the heat of the sun.
You are the pole star peeping through the gaps
of the rainy clouds.
You are moonlight in the darkness
and shade of tree during sun of the noon.
Even if staying far, You reside
in the sweet mental heaven.
