Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáy ámáy gopan dekhá
Habe priya maner końe
Jánbe ná keu dekhbe ná keu
Bujhbe ná keu mane mane

Ásbe tumi phuler sáje
Udvelita hiyár májhe
Jyotsná ráte cáṋder sáthe
Áloy áloy madhuvane

Jatat́uku jáni tomáy
Bháve bháśay dhará ná jáy
Bhávátiita bháśátiita
Tái ki áso sauṋgopane

O dear, our secret meeting
will take place in the recess of mind.
nobody will come to know or understand in mind.
you will come in floral adornment
within restless mind during moonlit night
with moon illuminating the sweet garden.
whatever little i know of you
cannot come into the fold of thought or language.
you are beyond the thought or language.
That is why, you come secretly.
