Kena-r uttar mor káche nái
Tái to priya tomáy shudhái
Káche ese dhyáne base
Jániye jeo jena

তোমায় আমি ভালবাসি
তুমি কি তা জান
কেন দূরে ফেলে' রাখ
কাছে নাহি টান

বিপুল তোমার রঙ্গভূমি
তারই মাঝে অণু আমি
তোমায় নাহি চিনে' জেনে'
বলো চাই যে কেন

'কেন'-র উত্তর মোর কাছে নাই
তাই তো প্রিয় তোমায় শুধাই
কাছে এসে ধ্যানে বসে'
জানিয়ে যেও যেন

O lord, i love you,
do not you know that?
why do you leave me away,
why do not you pull me close?
your stage is vast,
within which i am a meager particle.
tell me other than knowing and
recognizing you, what else should i want.
the answer of this "why" is not with me,
that is why o dear, i inquire from you.
coming close, sitting in my meditation,
make me aware of that.
