Tumi andhar ghare jvalo alo is the 2018th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi áṋdhár ghare jválo álo
Vyatháhate báso bhálo
Duhát diye dáo muchiye
Lágale gáye páper kálo

Tumi cháŕá keu káro nái
Tomár páne tái to tákái
Tomáy niye áchi sadái
Sarvakalei priiti d́hálo

Kabhu kotháy keu eká nay
Tháke jadi tava varábhay
Shaelashikhar nata shire ray
Amáy háse rauṋmashálo

You spark light inside a dark dwelling;
Those afflicted, You hold dear.
With two hands away You wipe
Sin's ebony from affected bodies.

Except for You no second doer is there;
So in Your direction everybody peers!
We are with You all the time...
And You pour love eternally.

Never and nowhere is anyone solitary
When Your Varábhaya[nb 2] perseveres.
The mountain peak goes on with head declined...
A dyed flambeau shines on me.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ Varábhaya is a specific blessing that confers the granting of boons and the sense of fearlessness.
