Duyár khule álo d́hele
Manke mátále

Tomár priitir rauṋ mashále
Mánav jiivan ut́hlo dule
Áshár dhvajá úrdhve tule
Sámne dáṋŕále

তুমি ভালবেসেছিলে
তাই কি এলে
ফুলের পরাগ রাগ-অনুরাগ
মিশিয়ে দিলে

ছিলো মানুষ অন্ধকারে
জড় ভাবনার বদ্ধ ঘরে
দুয়ার খুলে' আলো ঢেলে'
মনকে মাতালে

তোমার প্রীতির রঙ্ মশালে
মানব জীবন উঠল দুলে'
আশার ধ্বজা ঊর্ধ্বে তুলে'
সামনে দাঁড়ালে

Flower pollen, love, and affection,

Humans had been in a darkness gloomy,
Pent in room of thoughts worldly.
The door opening and light-rays pouring,
Greatly You excited psyche.

Under Your colored flambeau loving,
Human life arose swaying.
Hope's pennant skyward raising,
You stood waiting in the lead.
