Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi bhese calo priya kon se deshe
Phuler vane sabár mane mane
Abhraḿlehii girir tuśár stúpe
Rúpe rúpe prati kśańe kśańe

Tomáke bheve nijeke hárái
Tomár shikháy práńer pradiip jválái
Tomár priitir smrtite giiti gái
Práńer t́áne bhule abhimáne

Ámár cidákáshe tumii vidhu
Tomár jyotsnálok d́hále madhu
Ánanda karo priya tumii shudhu
Pratyabhijiṋáy sakal abhidhyáne

In which region, Dear, do You go floating?
In the flower garden at everyone's inmost psyche.
In sky-kissing mountain's frosty snow-heaps,
And in form after form, each one momentarily.

Contemplating You, myself lose I;
From Your flame I ignite the lamp of life.
I sing a song from memory of love Thine,
From heart's tug, having forgotten vanity.

On my mental sky You alone are the moon;
Honey does Your moonlight's splendor exude.
Love, the Bliss-Maker too, it's just You,
Recognized through all earnest longing.
