Maner końe álo jvelechile
Andhakáre chilum
Nimeśe áṋdhár sariye dile

Chilo ná kona sádhaná
Kari ni vedii racaná
Vijane grhakońe
Niirava carańe tumi ele

Cáo ni kichui tumi
Ráuṋále manobhúmi
Caliyá jakhan gele
Sakal bojhá sauṋge niye gele

তুমি এসেছিলে
মনের কোণে আলো জ্বেলেছিলে
অন্ধকারে ছিলুম
নিমেষে আঁধার সরিয়ে দিলে

ছিল না কোন সাধনা
করি নি বেদী রচনা
বিজনে গৃহকোণে
নীরব চরণে তুমি এলে

চাও নি কিছুই তুমি
রাঙালে মনোভূমি
চলিয়া যখন গেলে
সকল বোঝা সঙ্গে নিয়ে গেলে

You had arrived;
In mind's nook, You'd struck a light.
I had been in utter gloom;
At once, the gloom You removed.

There had been no sadhana;
I prepared no altar...
On Your own, my home inside,
With silent footsteps You arrived.

You did not want anything;
You lit up the realm of psyche...
Then when You departed,
You left with my entire burden.
