Anandamurti starts the discourse by stating that In Tantra, practice is more significant than theory and that it constitutes a ninety nine percent of it. He then explains a tantric shloka composed of four sentences: Tadekaḿ japámas tadekaḿ smarámas - One should think or remember only the Supreme and not waste time in other thoughts or memories. Tadekaḿ jagatsákśiirúpaḿ namámah - Namaste is a salutation to the Guru alone. Tadekaḿ nidhánaḿ nirálambamiisham - Parama Purusa is beyond all boundaries and Bhavámbodhipotaḿ sharańaḿ vrajámah - Taking shelter in Him, is the only way to reach the goal.
