Tell me, about Whom did You remember?
An ocular rain has wiped away the [[:wikipedia:Kohl (cosmetics)|kohl]].
By cloudy eyes, your kohl decoration
Won't you say: Into mind has sprung Whose story?
is getting wiped out. I am asking you,
What's the reason there's no sleep, to you I inquire;
why there is no sleep for you,
The innermost secret, why don't you speak?
why do not you tell me

the your mental feelings?
To light is light directed, alike is the nighttime sweet;
All sides are illuminated with light,
But a weight ruinous, fragrance pained, is the vernal breeze?
like this is the sweet night,
Despondency has awakened upon viewing Somebody;
and breeze is lightening,
Shame and fear forgetting, please make known Who is He.
saturated with sandal fragrance.

In whose longing, disappointment has arisen,
Psyche's clouds ebony don't remain for a long while;
Make me aware of that,
Bit by bit they become weak by focused [[Meditation|thought on the Divine]].
ignoring shyness and fear.
After bad days, happy days will arrive;
The dark clouds of the mind
So I say knowingly: Worry not about a thing!
would not stay for long.
They will gradually decay
with concentration and meditation.
The good days will come
after the bad days,
knowing this fact, I tell you not to worry.

Ankhira badal mucheche kajal is the 3013th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áṋkhira bádal mucheche kájal
Kár kathá mane paŕe balo ná
Kena je niṋd nái tomáke shudhái
Maneri kathát́i kena kao ná

Áloy álo dishá eman madhunishá
Malay surabhikliśt́a bhár-náshá
Káre ceye jegeche niráshá
Láj bhiiti bhule táre cenáo ná

Maner kálo megh tháke ná ciradin
Dhyán dhárańáy kramashah hay kśiiń
Kudineri pare ásibe sudin
Tái jene bali kichu bhevo ná

An ocular rain has wiped away the kohl.
Won't you say: Into mind has sprung Whose story?
What's the reason there's no sleep, to you I inquire;
The innermost secret, why don't you speak?

To light is light directed, alike is the nighttime sweet;
But a weight ruinous, fragrance pained, is the vernal breeze?
Despondency has awakened upon viewing Somebody;
Shame and fear forgetting, please make known Who is He.

Psyche's clouds ebony don't remain for a long while;
Bit by bit they become weak by focused thought on the Divine.
After bad days, happy days will arrive;
So I say knowingly: Worry not about a thing!
