On this dewwet winter morning,
On this same dew-soaked autumn morning,
an unknown traveler came.
One Unknown Traveler did appear,
there was smile in the charming eyes
He arrived, oh He appeared!
and based on the lips was captivating flute.
In charming eyes there'd been sweet grin,
within moments he won over all.
A reed pipe enthralling on base of lips;
Initially i could not recognize him,
In a wink He captivated everybody.
he also did not give introduction.

He filled melody in the strings of my core,
Him I could not recognize initially,
and made abode within my mind.
And He did not identify Himself to me.
i am unable to forget him anytime,
Infusing melody through my heartstrings,
thus i shall not get lost
He captured seat at core of psyche!
in the darkness of night.

i see him again and again inside.
I cannot forget Him, never and by no means;
why has he done like that?
On gloom of dark-moon night, I won't face defeat.
Inside of me I see Him repeatedly;
Arranged like this, oh why did He let it be?

Ei shishire bheja sharada prate is the 2893rd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ei shishire bhejá shárada práte
Ajáná pathik ek elo re
Elo elo elo re
Mohana nayane chilo madhura hási
Ośt́hádháre práń mátáno báṋshii
Nimeśe jine nilo sabáre

Cinite párini ámi prathame táre
Paricay deyniko seo ámáre
Sur bhare diye mor marma táre
Manomájhe t́háṋi kare nilo re

Bhulite pári ná ámi kakhano táre
Hárábo ná amánishára áṋdháre
Antare dekhi táre báre báre
Kena se eman kare dilo re

On this same dew-soaked autumn morning,
One Unknown Traveler did appear,
He arrived, oh He appeared!
In charming eyes there'd been sweet grin,
A reed pipe enthralling on base of lips;
In a wink He captivated everybody.

Him I could not recognize initially,
And He did not identify Himself to me.
Infusing melody through my heartstrings,
He captured seat at core of psyche!

I cannot forget Him, never and by no means;
On gloom of dark-moon night, I won't face defeat.
Inside of me I see Him repeatedly;
Arranged like this, oh why did He let it be?
