Mádhurii chaŕiye manke bhariye
Kon gahane lukiye gele

E lukocuri khelá kena kare jáo
Pulake mátiye ajhore káṋdáo
Dúre theke shudhu hátcháni dáo
E kon kuhake ámáke phele

Káche ná ele ár d́ák shunibo ná
Tomár hátchánite bhulibo ná
Carańa dharite jadi dile ná
Manane rákhibo beṋdhe pratipale

চিদাকাশে তুমি এসেছিলে
মাধুরী ছড়িয়ে মনকে ভরিয়ে
কোন্‌ গহনে লুকিয়ে গেলে

এ লুকোচুরি খেলা কেন করে যাও
পুলকে মাতিয়ে অঝোরে কাঁদাও
দূরে থেকে শুধু হাতছানি দাও
এ কোন্‌ কুহকে আমাকে ফেলে

কাছে না এলে আর ডাক শুনিব না
তোমার হাতছানিতে ভুলিব না
চরণ ধরিতে যদি দিলে না
মননে রাখিব বেঁধে প্রতিপলে
