Oh Lord, kindly come into my dwelling;
Oh Lord, kindly come into my dwelling;
Your throne is made ready...
The throne is made ready...
By it is a vase of flowers and a candelabra.
By it is a vase of flowers and a candelabra.
Coated with mind's sweetness in myriad streams
Coated with mind's sweetness in myriad streams
Is the yearning of my heart ever to greet Thee.
Is my heart's yearning to greet Thee continually.

The throne is never eclipsed by dark of night;
This throne is never eclipsed by dark of night;
The vase is never capped by any kind of shame.
The vase is never capped by any kind of shame.
Without assist, the candle flame goes on alight,
Without assist, the candle flame goes on alight,
For Your sake alone, Lord, only for Your sake.
For Your sake alone, Lord, only for Your sake.

My mind's sweet love
Circumscribed by dream is my mental sweetness;
prances lithely
Like a forest doe, I brim with obeisance.
enticingly plays
Lost in eternity is my heart's yearning
in beautiful dreams
To bathe Your lotus feet with a stream of tears,
like timid forest deer.
To greet Thee continually.
My inner heart soars
to limitless domains
and my tears fall ceaselessly
to bathe your lotus feet..

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Eso ámára ghare prabhu krpá kare
Ásan sájáno
Áche phúlasáje áche diipádháre
Manera mádhurii mákhá shatadháre
(Mor) Hiyára ákuti sadá svágata kare

E ásan amánishá grásite náre
Phúlasáj kona láj d́hákite náre
Diipashikhá eká eká jvaliyá cale
Tomári tare prabhu tomári tare

Manera mádhurii mama svapane gherá
Vanaharińii sama vinati bhará
Hiyára ákuti mor asiime hárá
Tava carańa dhoyáye dite ashrudháre
Sadá svágata kare

Oh Lord, kindly come into my dwelling;
The throne is made ready...
By it is a vase of flowers and a candelabra.
Coated with mind's sweetness in myriad streams
Is my heart's yearning to greet Thee continually.

This throne is never eclipsed by dark of night;
The vase is never capped by any kind of shame.
Without assist, the candle flame goes on alight,
For Your sake alone, Lord, only for Your sake.

Circumscribed by dream is my mental sweetness;
Like a forest doe, I brim with obeisance.
Lost in eternity is my heart's yearning
To bathe Your lotus feet with a stream of tears,
To greet Thee continually.
