O lord, you enchant and resonate my mind,
My heart's object of deep adoration,
You are the very embodiment of affection.
You are love made manifest.
Take pity on one who's distressed;
For asylum I have come.

Have mercy on afflicted ones,
Transcendent, You're the Lord of Maya,
I have come into your shelter.
Dispelling every danger.
Sin-killer and mind-teaser,
You tinge my innermost desire.

You are the controller
Meditation's real goal and life's only heartthrob,
beyond the web of ma'ya'.
You are hearing's blessing sung aloud.
You destroy all adversities
In Your beggar's bowl, the fiend of being proud,
and remove all dirt.
Master, he keeps getting pounded down.

You reside deep within my mind,
For my well-being You regulate;
and enlighten it.
You integrate my mental sphere.

Make me hum, make me happy;
You are the ultimate object of ideation,
Thrill me, Forgiver of shortcomings.
my dearest contemplation
and the best song to listen to.

By your weapon, the pride of the antidivine forces,
gets powdered down.

For the welfare of all,
You restrain and integrate the mental arena.

Tingling, pleasing and vibrating,
You pardon my faults.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Mandrita manamohana mama
Múrta mamatá tumi
Karuńá karo ártake
Sharańe ágata ámi

Máyátiita haye máyádhiish tumi
Sarvavipadabhaiṋjana
Kaluśahárii manavihárii
Marmamánasaraiṋjana

Dhyáneri dhyeya práńeri preya
Shravańer shreya udgiita
Tava kharpare deváridarpa
Haye tháke prabhu cúrńiita

Kalyáń lági saḿjata karo
Saḿhata karo manobhúmi
Jhauṋkrta karo nandita karo
Spandita karo trut́i kśamii

My heart's object of deep adoration,
You are love made manifest.
Take pity on one who's distressed;
For asylum I have come.

Transcendent, You're the Lord of Maya,
Dispelling every danger.
Sin-killer and mind-teaser,
You tinge my innermost desire.

Meditation's real goal and life's only heartthrob,
You are hearing's blessing sung aloud.
In Your beggar's bowl, the fiend of being proud,
Master, he keeps getting pounded down.

For my well-being You regulate;
You integrate my mental sphere.
Make me hum, make me happy;
Thrill me, Forgiver of shortcomings.
