O lord, i remained sitting
In the hope of You I'd waited;
with the hope of your arrival,
Why did You not come, do speak.
why did not You come, tell?
I could not express through language
as the eyes are full of tears,
How much the eyes, they'd been teary!
i am unable to express in language.

you observe everything of everyone
Everything of everyone You remain observing;
and keep all at the appropriate places.
What decorates in which place, there You pay heed.
carrying mental fragrance,
With pollen of psyche, sweetness You smear;
you smear sweetness,
And You go on smiling, inwardly.
and continue moving smiling in the mind.

whatever is to happen takes place,
Whatever had been possible, it has occurred;
whatever is located for the future.
What has remained dormant, it will be in future.
whatever is hidden within thought and beyond that.
Expressed or absent, that which is obscure,
Project the flame of the lamp of intuition to all.
The flame of wisdom's lamp You cast on everybody.

Ashay basechilum je tomar is the 2947th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ásháy basechilum je tomár
Kena ele ná (balo)
Bháśay vyakta karite párini
Áṋkhi kii chilo ná chalachala

Sabár sakal kichu dekhiyá tháko
Jáhá jekháne sáje sekháne rákho
Maner parág niye mádhurii mákho
Mane mane hese calo

Jáhá kichu ghat́echilo ghat́e caleche
Bhaviśyate já nihita rayeche
Bháve abháve jáhá lukiye áche
Prajiṋár diipashikhá sabete phelo

In the hope of You I'd waited;
Why did You not come, do speak.
I could not express through language
How much the eyes, they'd been teary!

Everything of everyone You remain observing;
What decorates in which place, there You pay heed.
With pollen of psyche, sweetness You smear;
And You go on smiling, inwardly.

Whatever had been possible, it has occurred;
What has remained dormant, it will be in future.
Expressed or absent, that which is obscure,
The flame of wisdom's lamp You cast on everybody.
