Taruńa tapana tandrá tyajiyá
Uttál halo tava tále
E kii máyáy
Andhatamisrár búk cire
Álo jágilo náshi jaŕimáy

Phulera kalirá hese phut́e gelo
Kálnidrá kothá t́ut́e gelo
Alasa ávesh sab chut́e gelo
Kavośńa tava snehadháráy

Mumurśu práńii práń phire pelo
Jijiṋásu hiyá trpta hailo
Mumukśu man mokśa labhilo
Prabhu tava ahetukii krpáy

তরুণ তপন তন্দ্রা ত্যজিয়া
উত্তাল হলো তব তালে
এ কী মায়ায়
অন্ধতমিস্রার বুক চিরে
আলো জাগিলো নাশি জড়িমায়

ফুলের কলিরা হেসে ফুটে গেলো
কালনিদ্রা কোথা টুটে গেলো
অলস আবেশ সব ছুটে গেলো
কবোষ্ণ তব স্নেহধারায়

মুমূর্ষু প্রাণী প্রাণ ফিরে পেলো
জিজ্ঞাসু হিয়া তৃপ্ত হইলো
মুমুক্ষু মন মোক্ষ লভিলো
প্রভু তব অহেতুকী কৃপায়

The young sun,
stirred by your rhythm,
is awakening from its sleep.
What magic is this?

Piercing the bosom of a dark night,
light appears, destroying all inertness.
Flower buds bloom into smiles
and deep slumber is cast aside.
All traces of idleness are now removed
by the warmth of your affectionate flow.

Those who are dying, regain life.
Inquisitive hearts attain fulfilment.
Those desirous of salvation,
attain it, o lord,
by your fortuitous grace.
