Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Tumi) Esecho madhu hesecho
Manapráń karecho álo
Krpá karecho gán shuniyecho
Sure sure diipávalii jválo

Maner májháre tumi haye ácho liin
Vaner mayúr nece khoṋje nishidin
Maner áŕále theke vaner suśamá mekhe
Manovane saorabh d́hálo

Karuńáságar tumi anádikáler
Úrmimáláy bháso dúránter
Ácho káche niravadhi liilár náhi avadhi
Jáhá karo tái láge bhálo

O lord, you came, smiled sweetly,
and illuminated my entire existence.
You showered grace, heard the song,
and kindled the festival of lights
with melody after melody.
you remain engrossed within the mind.
the peacocks of the forests go on
searching You day and night while dancing.
hiding behind the mind,
smeared with beauty of the garden,
you pour fragrance in the garden of the mind.
you are the ocean of mercy from time immemorial,
float in the series of waves, at distance.
you are nearby all the time,
without a pause of liila’, your game.
whatever you do, that appears good.
