Ageo ajana pareo ajana is the 2790th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ágeo ajáná pareo ajáná
Májhkháne shudhu cenáshoná
Kotháy chilum jácchi kotháy
Calechi kabe theke jáni ná

Chilo ná ákásh vátás mahiiruha
Gandha madhubhara' chilo ná sararuha
Áshá bhálabásár samároha
Vák bhávátiita se bhávaná

Atiite tumi chile thákibe tumi sheśe
Bhásibe ananta citi pariveshe
Sabái theke tháke tomár májhe mishe[nb 2]
Theke jábe tava eśańá

The future is unknown, the past is also unknown,
only in middle recognition is there.
Where i am, where i am going,
when did i start, all that i do not know.
There was no sky, no air, no trees,
there was no sweetness of fragrance of six types.
in the collectivity of hope and love,
the feelings beyond speech, thought.
you were in the past; you shall remain at the end,
and shine under environment of unlimited ness.
those existing now would merge in you.
only your will would remain.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ This line is presented three different ways in the Bangla source, and in the audio rendition it is presented yet another way. Here we give what seems to be most likely what was originally given.
