Ajasrarúp dhare

Álote cháyáte chande nececho
Shubháshubha niye dvandve metecho
Ashubher niśpatti kare
Dekhále páp je háre

Ásuri shakti cańd́a pratápe
Pratiśt́há jabe dite cáy pápe
Vajra áloke dagdhiyá táke
Báṋcáo mánavatáre

কোন সে অতীতে
এসেছিলে এসেছিলে তুমি
বিশ্বভুবন ভরে'
আলোতে হাওয়াতে ভাবে প্রীতিতে
অজস্ররূপ ধরে'

আলোতে ছায়াতে ছন্দে নেচেছ
শুভাশুভ নিয়ে দ্বন্দ্বে মেতেছ
অশুভের নিষ্পত্তি করে'
দেখালে পাপ যে হারে

আসুরি শক্তি চণ্ড প্রতাপে
প্রতিষ্ঠা যবে দিতে চায় পাপে
বজ্র আলোকে দগ্ধিয়া তাকে
বাঁচাও মানবতারে

O lord, in which distant past
you came filling the whole world.
you came filling love into
light, air, and thoughts
holding many forms.
you dance with the rhythm of light and shade,
frenzied with tussles of good and bad.
providing solution to the nonauspicious,
you have shown how the sin can be defeated.
with the intense power of demonic force,
when sin tends to be honored,
then with the lightning you burn that
and save the humanity.
