Mohana nayane chilo madhura hási
Ośt́hádháre práń mátáno báṋshii
Nimeśe jine nilo sabáre

Cinite párini ámi prathame táre
Paricay deyniko seo ámáre
Sur bhare diye mor marma táre
Manomájhe t́háṋi kare nilo re

Bhulite pári ná ámi kakhano táre
Hárábo ná amánishára áṋdháre
Antare dekhi táre báre báre
Kena se eman kare dilo re

এই শিশিরে ভেজা শারদ প্রাতে
অজানা পথিক এক এল রে
এল এল এল রে
মোহন নয়নে ছিল মধুর হাসি
ওষ্ঠাধারে প্রাণ মাতানো বাঁশী
নিমেষে জিনে' নিল সবারে

চিনিতে পারিনি আমি প্রথমে তারে
পরিচয় দেয়নিকো সেও আমারে
সুর ভরে' দিয়ে মোর মর্ম-তারে
মনোমাঝে ঠাঁই করে' নিল রে

ভুলিতে পারি না আমি কখনো তারে
হারাবো না অমানিশার আঁধারে
অন্তরে দেখি তারে বারে বারে
কেন সে এমন করে' দিল রে

On this dewwet winter morning,
an unknown traveler came.
there was smile in the charming eyes
and based on the lips was captivating flute.
within moments he won over all.
Initially i could not recognize him,
he also did not give introduction.
He filled melody in the strings of my core,
and made abode within my mind.
i am unable to forget him anytime,
thus i shall not get lost
in the darkness of night.
i see him again and again inside.
why has he done like that?
