Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomári áshe base base
Phul jhariyá jáy
Rauṋin mukul dulto dodul
Buk bhará ásháy

Griiśma gelo varśá gelo
Sharat hemanta shiito gelo
Vasanta ki cale jábe
Shukiye hatásháy

E madhumás tomár tare
Kishalay áche bhare
Indradhanu bájáy veńu
Nabhah niilimáy

Sitting in your hope, the flowers wither away.
the colourful buds oscillate on the swing
with heart full of hope.
the summer passed, the rainy season is over,
the autumn, prewinter and the winter also passed.
will my spring also go away drying in disappointment?
this spring is for you,
and is filled with tender leaves.
the rainbow plays the flute in the blue sky.
