Alakár sudhá jharáyecho (tumi)
Kuyashár kálo muchiyá pheliyá
Aruńer álo ániyácho (tumi)

Tritápadagdha mánava hrdaye
Asiimer trśá diyecho bhariye
Múk acetan mánava mánase
Muktir váńii shońáyecho (tumi)

Mánuśe mánuśe bhed bháv bhule
Sabái jáháte milemishe cale
(Tái) Maniiśár udbodhan kále
Nútaner chavi áṋkiyácho (tumi)

আলোর সাগরে ঢেউ জাগায়েছো
অলকার সুধা ঝরায়েছো (তুমি)
কুয়াশার কালো মুছিয়া ফেলিয়া
অরুণের আলো আনিয়াছো

ত্রিতাপদগ্ধ মানব হৃদয়ে
অসীমের তৃষা দিয়েছো ভরিয়ে
মূক অচেতন মানব মানসে
মুক্তির বাণী শোণায়েছো (তুমি)

মানুষে মানুষে ভেদ-ভাব ভুলে
সবাই যাহাতে মিলেমিশে চলে
(তাই) মনীষার উদ্বোধন কালে
নূতনের ছবি আঁকিয়াছো (তুমি)

O Lord,
You raised waves
in the ocean of effulgence
and brought about heavenly nectar.

Wiping off the darkness of fog,
You brought down the light of dawn.

Into mankind's burning heart
that was caused
due to flames of three kinds:
physical, psychic and spiritual,
You engendered a thirst for the infinite.

Into the dumb and unconscious human mind,
You spoke a message of liberation.

Making all move together in harmony,
forgetting all differences,
You drew a new image
at the time of enlightening the mind.
