O lord,
You're the jewel of bottomless sea,
You are the gem of the deep sea,
The light of pitch-dark night.
and the illumination of the dark night.
We don't know or even recognize Thee,
And yet You still give love.

Even though i may not know nor recognise you,
In the mind a flood of hope You bring
I still love you.
To those with heart broke by despair.
Piercing our lives both night and day,
For our satisfaction You lavish heaps of nectar.

You bring tides of hope into my mind,
In Your divine presence we do lack for nothing;
that break my heart in disappoinment.
A speck of mercy is already with us.

What You've given, You have given in abundance;
Day and night you enter into my heart,
Our work having been decreed, come on let us go.
pouring into it heaps of nectar of gratification.

I do not want anything from you.
The wee bit of your grace is already there.
Whatever you gave me is plentiful.
Simply continue commanding the work.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Atal sindhur mańi tumi
Áṋdhár ráter álo
Cini náko jáni náko
Tabu báso bhálo

Áno mane áshár joyár
Hatásháte buk bháuṋgá jár
Aharnishi práńe pashi
(Trptir) Sudháráshi d́hálo

Cái ná kichu tomár káche
Krpár kańá sauṋgei áche
Já diyecho d́her diyecho
(Kájer) Ádesha kare calo

You're the jewel of bottomless sea,
The light of pitch-dark night.
We don't know or even recognize Thee,
And yet You still give love.

In the mind a flood of hope You bring
To those with heart broke by despair.
Piercing our lives both night and day,
For our satisfaction You lavish heaps of nectar.

In Your divine presence we do lack for nothing;
A speck of mercy is already with us.
What You've given, You have given in abundance;
Our work having been decreed, come on let us go.
