Vrśt́ijhará shiiter ráte
Esechile anek káche
Balini to eso káche áro káchete

Báire kankane haoyá
Sakal dvárei ágal deoyá
Ágal khule balini to eso bhitare
Eso gharer májhete

Tule nayan mukher páne
Cáile kena kei bá jáne
Chile tumi abhimáne takhan mánini
Ekt́i báro balini to kathá balite

Cale gele dúre sare
Eklá pather sáthii kare
Báirer kankane haoyá upekśá kare

চলে গেলে দূরে সরে
একলা পথের সাথী করে
বাইরের কন্‌কনে হাওয়া উপেক্ষা করে
একটি বারও বলিনি তো থাকো ঘরেতে
