Ele ele ele áṋdhár hrdaye álo jválále
Álo jválále jválále
Asphut́a kalider phot́áye dile
Pápŕi d́háká madhu jágále

Akátare ghumaghore chila járá
Tomár parashe cetaná pela tárá
Vihauṋga kuláye chila járá
Práńbhará sauṋgiite tuśiyáchile

Áṋdhár dharáre rauṋe sájále
Rauṋer kheláy nije mete ut́hile
Jágrata hiyá májhe tumi jágile
Trás sarále áshá bharále

এলে এলে এলে আঁধার হৃদয়ে জ্বালালে
আলো জ্বালালে জ্বালালে
অস্ফুট কলিদের ফোটায়ে দিলে
পাপড়ি-ঢাকা মধু জাগালে

অকাতরে ঘুমঘোরে ছিল যারা
তোমার পরশে চেতনা পেল তারা
বিহঙ্গ কুলায়ে ছিল যারা
প্রাণভরা সঙ্গীতে তুষিয়াছিলে

আঁধার ধরারে রঙে সাজালে
রঙের খেলায় নিজে মেতে’ উঠিলে
জাগ্রত হিয়া মাঝে তুমি জাগিলে
ত্রাস সরালে আশা ভরালে

O lord,
You came into my dark heart
and kindled light.

You made unbloomed buds bloom
and raised honey under the cover of petals.

Those helpless
and under the spell of a deep slumber,
by your touch, obtained consciousness.

You provided heartfelt melodies
to the birds that were resting in their nest.

You decorated the dark earth with colours
and, in the game of colours,
You became absorbed.

You arose amidst awakened hearts.
You removed all fear
and filled everyone with hope.
