O lord,
Stepping slowly please arrive
come gently onto my mental lotus.
Upon the lotus of my mind.
I kept everything arranged and decorated
There have I made ready
to welcome you.
Everything for Thee.

O bandhu, i brought floral honey
I've brought floral honey
and poured it into my pot.
And poured it in Your cup, my Darling.
Into my mental pollen,
The seed-vessels of my mind are filled
pure nectar was filled.
With nectar, moon-instilled.
Come to me momentarily;
My all revolves around Thee.

O lord,
With celestial fragrance coated is
amidst all these,
My heart, smeared with Your pollen.
come quickly for a moment at least.
More than the oceans and the rivers

Are my eyes brimming with water.
My heart remains absorbed with heavenly nectar
Stay with me eternally;
and is covered with pollen.
My mind is full only of Thee.
My eyes are filled with many a tear, as is the sea.
Stay forever!
My mind remains filled with you only.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Eso dhiire dhiire
Mánasa kamala pare
Sájáye rekhechi ámi
Sab kichu tomá tare

Enechi puśpamadhu
D́helechi pátre baṋdhu
Mana karńikáte shudhu
Sudhá bhare diyechi vidhu
Eso kśańatare
Sab kichu tomáke ghire

Alakár suváse mákhá
Hiyá mor reńute d́háká
Ságar o saritá theke
Jala bhará áche cokhe
Tháko ciratare
Man shudhu tomáte bhare

Stepping slowly please arrive
Upon the lotus of my mind.
There have I made ready
Everything for Thee.

I've brought floral honey
And poured it in Your cup, my Darling.
The seed-vessels of my mind are filled
With nectar, moon-instilled.
Come to me momentarily;
My all revolves around Thee.

With celestial fragrance coated is
My heart, smeared with Your pollen.
More than the oceans and the rivers
Are my eyes brimming with water.
Stay with me eternally;
My mind is full only of Thee.
