Hemanta aji prate eseche is the 92nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Hemanta áji práte eseche
Shishire kariyá snán eseche
Se kena eseche se kena eseche
Tomáke sájábe bale eseche

D́áliyá chandramalliká eneche
Sonálii dháner shiiśe heseche

Bátábii nebur madhu eneche
Rauṋchonyá kamaláte heseche

Badarii phuler ghráń eneche
Rasa jhará kharjure heseche

Today, in the early morn, prewinter[nb 2] has come.
Bathed in frost, it has come.
Why did it come, why did it come?
To help adorn You, it has come.

It brings dahlias and chrysanthemums
And laughs in the golden hulls of paddy.

It brings the sweetness of pomelos
And laughs in the colorful orange trees.

It brings the fragrance of jujube flowers
And laughs in the sap-exuding date palms.
