Áṋkhi niire bhásiyáchi
Tabu náhi dile dhará
Ogo mor dhruvatárá

Kata nishi ket́e geche
Kata tárá khasiyáche
Kata tithi vyathábhará
Kata giiti halo hárá

Jáhá karo bhála lági
Áshá niye áchi jági
Trut́i smari kśamá mági
Karo krpá kleshahará

Bhálobási tomáre go
Tamah náshi sadá jágo
Manobhúme tumi rájo
Citsaroje diye dhará

যুগে যুগে ডাকিয়াছি
আঁখি-নীরে ভাসিয়াছি
তবু নাহি দিলে ধরা
ওগো মোর ধ্রুবতারা

কত নিশি কেটে গেছে
কত তারা খসিয়াছে
কত তিথি ব্যথাভরা
কত গীতি হলো হারা

যাহা করো ভাল লাগি
আশা নিয়ে আছি জাগি
ত্রুটি স্মরি ক্ষমা মাগি
করো কৃপা ক্লেশহরা

ভালোবাসি তোমারে গো
তমঃ নাশি সদা জাগো
মনোভূমে তুমি রাজো
চিৎসরোজে দিয়ে ধরা

O lord!
Floating in tears,
I have called you throughout the ages.

Yet still, o my pole star!
You did not come into my fold.

How many nights have passed by?
How many stars set down?

How many days became filled with pain?
How many songs lost?

With the hope that whatever you do
is done for our good
I remain awake.

In remembering my faults,
I beg your pardon.
Shower your grace upon me!

O remover of agonies!

Destroy the darkness

Manifest yourself in my mental arena
