Súrja ut́heche tamah náshiyáche
Ákásh heseche rúpáloke
Shatek juger láiṋchanábhár
Bhásiyá giyáche se áloke

Álor ságare túphán eseche
Sakal jaŕatá niirave sareche
Sakal kálimá mukh lukáyeche
Jyotiriish tava liilá dekhe

Kálo javaniká se álote liin
Krśńa ákásh hayeche suniil
Sab avicár sab anácár
Bhaye bhaye dekhe se dyutike

সূর্য উঠেছে তমঃ নাশিয়াছে
আকাশ হেসেছে রূপালোকে
শতেক যুগের লাঞ্ছনাভার
ভাসিয়া গিয়াছে সে আলোকে

আলোর সাগরে তুফান এসেছে
সকল জড়তা নীরবে সরেছে
সকল কালিমা মুখ লুকায়েছে
জ্যোতিরীশ তব লীলা দেখে

কালো যবনিকা সে আলোতে লীন
কৃষ্ণ আকাশ হয়েছে সুনীল
সব অবিচার সব অনাচার
ভয়ে ভয়ে দেখে সে দ্যুতিকে

The sun has arisen.
Darkness has vanished.

The sky has smiled
into the light of beauteous forms.

The heavy load of sorrows and humiliations
of a hundred ages
has melted into that light.

The tidal waves
of the ocean of light
have emerged.

All inertness has been silently removed.
All blemishes have hidden their face.
To see your divine sport.
O lord of effulgence.

The deep black curtain now merges into that light.
The black cloud has become deep blue.

All injustice, all corruption
tremble in fear seeing that..
seeing that dazzling effulgence.
