Nijer bale jata máni

Nityakáler sáthii ámár
Mákháyecho rauṋ mamatár
Theke jábe priitiri hár
Rúpe ráge tomár tare
Anuráge bháver ghare

তোমার কাছে চাইতে গিয়ে
লজ্জা পেয়ে এলাম ফিরে
(দেখি) মোর প্রয়োজন মোর আয়োজন
তোমারই কল্পনা ঘিরে

আমি আমায় যত জানি
নিজের বলে যত মানি
তুমি জানো অনেক বেশী

নিত্যকালের সাথী আমার

O lord,
I went to you in order to demand from you
but i returned back ashamed.

I realized that all my necessities and preparations
are within your imagination.

Much more than what i know about myself,
do you know about me.
And much more do you bestow
than whatever i think is required by me.

O my eternal companion,
You have absorbed me
in the colour of affection.

That garland of love,
with beauty and attachment,
will ever remain for you.

I returned back ashamed
yet in affection,
entered the world of thought.
