O Lord, I attained You across the dark ocean
Yourself did I obtain
as golden line of light. My sleep of inertia
On the far shore of a dark ocean,
is broken by Your ceaseless gradual modulation of tones.
Like a golden streak of light.
You came through rhythm after rhythm,
My inertial slumber You broke
floating through stream of bliss,
By music's sleepless fall and rise.
and removed entire darkness with exquisite gesture.

Scattering in all directions,
With much cadence You did come,
You have filled honey into buds.
Afloat upon a stream of euphoria.
You entered in minds with charming feeling
All the gloomy ignorance You got rid of
like the beauty of ma’dhavii flower.
By an implication sublime.

You effused in all directions;
You infused honey in the bud.
Mind You entered with enchanting thought,
Like a [[:wikipedia:Hiptage benghalensis|myrtle's]] beauty fine.

Tomay ami pelum is the 2976th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáy ámi pelum
Áṋdhár ságara páre
Álor sonálii rekháy
Jaŕatári ghum bháuṋalo
Anidra múrchanáy

Chande chande tumi ele
Ánanda srote bhásile
Sakal tamasá sarále
Anindya dyotanáy

Dike dike chaŕále
Korake madhu bharile
Mohan bháve mane ele
Mádhavii suśamáy

Yourself did I obtain
On the far shore of a dark ocean,
Like a golden streak of light.
My inertial slumber You broke
By music's sleepless fall and rise.

With much cadence You did come,
Afloat upon a stream of euphoria.
All the gloomy ignorance You got rid of
By an implication sublime.

You effused in all directions;
You infused honey in the bud.
Mind You entered with enchanting thought,
Like a myrtle's beauty fine.
