Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi esecho man je keŕecho
Bhuláye diyecho shateka jválá
Bhávera srote divase ráte
Surete geṋthecho gánera málá

Ulká dahana halo je candan
Tomári práńera parasha peye
Marura trśá háráye dishá
Kothá cale gela shyámala cháye
(Áj) Sakala játaná sakal vedaná
Haye gela dekhi phulera d́álá

Basiyá basiyá hrdaya mathiyá
Nija páne eká cáhiyá cáhiyá
Et́ái bujhechi mániyá niyechi
Tumi bhálobáso paráńa d́hálá

You have come, You have stolen my mind.
You have made me forget all worries of life.
In the stream of ideation, day and night,
You have woven a garland of songs, anointing it with Your melody.

By the touch of divine life,
Even burning meteors seem as soothing as sandal paste to me.
By the cool green shade of divine life,
The desert thirst is forever quenched.

Today, all pains and agonies of life
Lie mingled as if in a basket of soft flowers.
I wait and wait and look within, and in the pleasant pains of my heart
I discover that You have poured on me profuse love.
