Tumi je path dhariyá esechile
Táhár surabhi ájo áche
Tumi je hási jharáye diyechile
Táhári spandan ájo náce

Ele gandhe gáne ele chande táne
Milemishe giyechile práńe práńe
Tumi kena je tákiye chile ámár páńe
Tomár se cáoyá áche marma májhe

Tava ekt́u cáoyá krpá ekt́u páoyá
Tomár kheyál mor parama páoyá
Se páoyár jer mor ájo kát́eni
Áchi ábár pávár lági ásháte beṋce

তুমি যে পথ ধরিয়া এসেছিলে
তাহার সুরভি আজও আছে
তুমি যে হাসি ঝরায়ে দিয়েছিলে
তাহারই স্পন্দন আজও নাচে

এলে গন্ধে গানে এলে ছন্দে তানে
মিলেমিশে গিয়েছিলে প্রাণে প্রাণে
তুমি কেন যে তাকিয়ে ছিলে আমার পানে
তোমার সে চাওয়া আছে মর্ম মাঝে

তব একটু চাওয়া কৃপা একটু পাওয়া
তোমার খেয়াল মোর পরম পাওয়া
সে পাওয়ার জের মোর আজও কাটেনি
আছি আবার পাবার লাগি আশাতে বেঁচে

O Lord,
the fragrance of that path
on which you came,
lingers on it even to this day.

The smile that you scattered,
that vibration dances on even today.

You came through fragrant songs,
rhythms and melodies,
and became mingled with all life.

Why did you gaze at me?
In the core of my heart
that attraction of yours still persists.

I asked for a wee bit of your grace,
and attained it.
My ultimate achievement rests in you.

The consequence of this attainment
has not faded away even to this day.

With the hope of achieving it again only, i survive.
