Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi je path diye giyechile priya
(Se pathe ájo) Surabhi rayeche
Je gán geyechile sure tále
Tá marme áche

Bhulini tomár kathá bhulite pári ná
Tumi je ámár shata janameri sádhaná
Káche ná thákileo man dúre tháke ná
Tava bháve meteche

Tumi bhuliyá geleo ámi náhi bhulibo
Sakal ákuti niye tava giiti geye jábo
Durlauṋghya giri utkrami calibo
Anurág more beṋdheche

O dear lord, the path that you have given while going,
on that even today fragrance remains.
the song that you had sung with melody and rhythm,
that is present in the core of my heart.
i have not forgotten about you,
i am unable to forget, since You are my sa’dhana’
of hundreds of lives.
even though you did not stay close,
my mind does not stay away and is engrossed
in your ideation.
you have forgotten, but i shall never forget.
With all earnestness i shall go on singing your song.
i shall move on, crossing the difficult mountains,
as your love has bound me.
