I searched you wastefully in places of pilgrimage, on roads and ways. I performed lamp reverences with conch blows. I raised sounds with drumbeats. I carried out all this but found that you did not come into my heart. Lighting fire, I performed oblations of fire. I kindled my lamp with five flames. I bathed you by pouring water into special utensil. I prayed to you with tearful eyes. But i observed that by performing all this, You went still further away.
