O lord,
Crossing the billowy ocean,
crossing the high sea,
In my home You had arrived.
You came to my home.
On lonesome path You are the pilgrim
Never pausing due to fear or fright.

On the solitary path,
I had done no preparation,
You never pause due to fear or risk.
Like provisioning some articles of worship.
There was only psyche, scarred all over,
Bathed in tears and love-laden.

I had not made any preparations for your welcome.
For Your sake I do nothing whatsoever,
No useful arrangement was made.
Chasing dreams, in vain have I rambled.
I had only an injured mind and heart,
With a new sun and a raging bugle,
but filled with love and soaked in tears.
My hand clasping, You showed the direction.

I did not do anything for you.
I simply wandered about behind mirages.
But you held my hand
and with a loud trumpet sound,
showed me a new sun.

Uttal sindhu utkrami is the 1077th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Uttál sindhu utkrami
Tumi esechile mor ghare
Ekak pather játrii je tumi
Náhi jáo thámi bhaye d́are

Kona áyojan chila ná ámár
Prayojan mato kona upacár
Chila shudhu kśata vikśata cita
Ashrusikta priitibháre

Tava tare ámi kari niko kichu
Vrthá ghurechinu áleyár pichu
Naviin súrje rudra túrje
Dishá dekháile hát dhare

Crossing the billowy ocean,
In my home You had arrived.
On lonesome path You are the pilgrim
Never pausing due to fear or fright.

I had done no preparation,
Like provisioning some articles of worship.
There was only psyche, scarred all over,
Bathed in tears and love-laden.

For Your sake I do nothing whatsoever,
Chasing dreams, in vain have I rambled.
With a new sun and a raging bugle,
My hand clasping, You showed the direction.
