'''''At The Threshold Of A New Era''''' is a feature-length documentary film focused on the life and works of [[Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar]]. The project was begun by Abhidevananda Avadhuta in late 2014. It has had several working titles (including ''Yesterday's Man Of Tomorrow'' and ''Imminent Change''). Presently, the film is called ''At The Threshold Of A New Era''. The project has entered its final stage of production.

Work on the film began in late 2014, with all of the funding coming from [[AmRevolution, Inc.]]. After the first expedition to India with a film team from Israel, a trailer was made and some additional funding was sought through [[:wikipedia:Crowdfunding|crowdfunding]]. When much less than the targeted amount was raised, the pace of production slowed. Nevertheless an additional two trips were made to India for additional interviews and other film footage. In addition, other interviews were conducted in different parts of the world. Musical recording sessions were also conducted in Oslo. Due to limited time, funding, and technical support, the project has been much delayed. The current but tentative target date for completion is mid-2020. Initially, the film is expected to be released as a series of roughly 15-minute episodes.

As with other products of [[PROUT Films]], the planned distribution pattern is to make the film available to private individuals for personal viewing. With respect to commercial concerns (for example, TV stations), they will need to seek permission from AmRevolution and pay a fee to screen the documentary.
