Five compulsory songs: Difference between revisions

On 1982 September 14, Sarkar began giving songs that he had composed. Within three months, he had already given more than [[List of songs of Prabhat Samgiita|150 songs]]. As this was quite a large number of songs, more than many of his adherents would be able to learn, Sarkar insisted only that all [[margiis]] should learn at least five specific songs compulsorily. By the end of his life eight years later, Sarkar had given a total of 5,018 original songs – more songs than any other person in recorded history.
