In 1979 Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar started his world tour. This was the first time in 9 years that he left India. Previously He visited Philippines twice. Taiwan was the first place on this world tour where he delivered lectures. After leaving Taiwan, he went on to tour Europe, Middle East, North and South America.<ref name=Preface />
