Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that none but the Supreme should be our object of thought. He then explains that we often remember past experiences and then recreate them in our minds (smrti). That is not desirable for our sadhana. Anandamurti goes on saying that only the thought of the Supreme can sail us through the vast ocean of action and reaction and bring us to the shore of infinite realisation.<ref name="AV2"/>
