Why are you building house in quicksand?
Quicksands, they bring down;
have you not examined the matter
So a house, why keep building?
even after observation?
Did You not look closely?
that structure is shaking profusely
Greatly it's been shaking.
because of the soft foundation.

since ages you have been wasting your time
Throughout many ages You have been constructing;
in constructing that castle on quicksand.
So much blood and labor You are lavishing...
you have applied much energy
Imagining, satisfaction You've received
along with blood, sweat
Around something transitory.
and your own hard labour to build it.

all the while you got satisfaction
On erosion, the bank of a river will break;
by imagining that which is bound by
Ere that too, an avalanche quicksand will make.
temporary and ephemeral.
Paint that's just imaginary, it will fade away;
when the river can break the border,
What will stay is everlasting.
after that the marshy quicksand
will destroy that.
all the imaginary colours will float away
and only the nondecaying absolute will remain.
