Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that the only way to surmount ''maya'' is through surrendering to the Supreme. Anandamurti then explains that ''avidyamaya'' is the force that broadens the angle of radius between the Lord and the devotee, while ''vidyamaya'' shortens it; Both are useful to maintaining a balance in the universe. Praise or punishment are for good reason. Anandamurti goes on explaining that the greatness of God can not be conceived by unit beings, even the most agile. Logic, philosophy or science will not be able to catch Him. Human Beings will have to obey His laws, and fulfill their duties for the benefit and welfare of all.<ref name="AV3"/>
